Mr. Kipp was appointed President and CEO of Boart Longyear in 2008 after serving for three years as COO. Prior to joining the Company, he was employed by General Electric from 1983-2005, serving in various capacities including President and COO of the Global Nuclear Fuel Division, General Manager of China operations and General Manager of Hungary operations. Mr. Kipp received his BSME and MSME from the University of North Dakota and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
